Our ice cream artisans

The production of La Glace is entrusted to Laurent and Stéphane Bernardoni, master ice cream makers. They are at the head of the family business Neige Azur, based in Carros, near Nice (Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur) since 1956.
Thanks to their know-how, we have succeeded in designing and manufacturing an artisanal ice cream for dogs, containing approximately half as much sugar and 30% less fat than ice cream for humans.
Dozens of hours of research and development were required to finally create a healthy and balanced ice cream for dogs while maintaining an artisanal ice cream texture for

  • a prolonged and relaxing licking moment for dogs and
  • a moment of pleasure shared between a human and his dog.

This research and development work involved Marc Osselez, an artisan ice cream maker based in Hauts de France, and Bruno Haïm, President of the National Confederation of Ice Cream Makers of France.
